Fenley-On-Sea is an OO gauge model railway layout depicting a terminus station of a fictitious seaside town somewhere on the Essex coast near Clacton.
Set in the late 1950s and early 1960s, the layout aims to portray the changing scene of the railways in East Anglia prior to the publishing of the Beeching Report.
The layout was constructed by members of the One Model Railway Club, set up in 2005 to promote railway modelling amongst railway staff. It is based at our clubrooms at Stowmarket Railway station, Suffolk.
The layout is available for exhibitions, details can be found on other pages.
